What We Believe
We believe that if we follow the pattern for the church that we find in the Bible, we can be simply Christians. We spend time in the study of the Bible and work to follow the pattern we find there of how to become Christians, how to worship our Lord, how to live our lives, and raise our families. We are simply Christians, striving to let the Bible be our guide and pattern.
A few of our core beliefs are:
-In order to be saved by Jesus, you must be baptized in His name.
-Weekly communion where we share the Bread of Life and Blood of Jesus.
-Fellowship with one another is crucial to a strong community that is established in God.

Giving
As people of God, we give because God has given so much to us.
Our gifts go towards the work of Oakland locally in Clarksville, across the country, as well as globally through mission efforts.
We give to increase the Kingdom through our generosity so others may know Jesus better.

Praise
We want Him to hear our soul's deepest desires and praises while in worship. Therefore, we focus on a cappella singing. Our voices sing loud and clear, and the written words in our hymnal speak for themselves. We seek to praise Him in how we live in this world, letting Him guide our steps and light the path before us.
“Praise the Lord, for He is good. Sing praises to His name. for it is lovely” Psalm 135:3
